About The Position
Radiation Test Solutions, Inc. (RTS), located in Colorado Springs near Garden of the Gods, is seeking a summer intern in Electrical Engineering. RTS specializes in testing electronic components both before and after exposure to radiation sources designed to simulate the space environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and brings a positive attitude. Hands-on experience with electronics is required, and applicants must be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Preference will be given to students entering their junior or senior year.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and brings a positive attitude.
- Hands-on experience with electronics.
- Strong communication skills, along with careful attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and systems, including diodes, transistors, voltage regulators, basic operational amplifier configurations, DC-DC converters, pulse-width modulators, and the setup of electronic test conditions.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or national; U.S. lawful permanent resident; person granted refugee status; or person granted asylum in the United States).
