About The Position
We are currently seeking high energy and motivated students to join our team as a 2026 Intern at PennAero. These internship opportunities will be located at our Mac Fasteners facility in Ottawa, KS. We are looking for interns in the following areas: Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering Internship Course: Over the course of our 8 - 10- week internship experience you will have the opportunity to: Work directly with a mentor in your field of study while finding solutions to real world problems. Experience our products up close by touring our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Interact directly with our company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of PennAero Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging activities. Gain the skills and knowledge to become a future leader in the aerospace industry. Relocation: Some of these positions offer a housing stipend based on candidate eligibility This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Ottawa, KS location.
Requirements
- Coding experience with JavaScript, C ++, or Phyton
- Current 3.0 GPA and above
- Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.
- Prior work experience.
- Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
