About The Position

This is a full-time Summer Intern position within the 85168 Greater Charlotte Research and Other Sponsored Programs - Academic SHVI department. The intern will perform duties including patient and family visits, delivery of support services, studies, investigations, research projects, and other assignments. Responsibilities also include administrative coverage of the office, such as answering phones and maintaining computer data. The intern will type documents, create spreadsheets and presentations, and assist with research projects, data analysis, and report creation. Data entry and filing are also part of the role. Effective verbal and written communication with all levels within the System and with the public is essential.

Requirements

  • High School, Undergraduate, Master's or Postgraduate enrollment required.
  • Excellent planning, prioritizing, oral/written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and team skills required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and ability to respond creatively to a rapidly changing environment required.
  • Computer skills required.

Responsibilities
