Summer Intern - Systems Engineering

Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative, e.g., school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, leadership on school or work projects, etc.
- Comfortable with hands-on lab work and problem solving
- Ability to work in both a team and individual setting
- Effective communication, time management, and creative problem-solving techniques
- Sophomore year must be completed by the start of the summer internship program for undergraduate candidates
- A desire to learn, grow, and develop by working on projects that will impact customers
Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including system requirements, interface definitions, and system block diagrams
- Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of system components and assemblies
- Participate in design peer reviews and present findings to cross-functional teams
- Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to deliver well-rounded, system-level solutions
