About The Position

The Software Operations Engineer Intern is responsible for improving the visibility, integration, and support of software systems. As a Software Operations Engineer Intern, you will build automations and reports, analyze logs, enhance incident triage, and support authentication, billing, and account workflows. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience with at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
Familiarity with APIs, logs, SQL, or data visualization through coursework, projects, or prior experience.
Demonstrated interest in troubleshooting, automation, and understanding how software systems operate.

Nice To Haves

Experience with monitoring, dashboarding, source control, identity management, or billing systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and test integrations using APIs, webhooks, and event-driven workflows.
Build lightweight automations that reduce manual investigation and accelerate issue resolution.
Analyze logs and system events to identify recurring issues, unusual patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Improve incident triage by connecting monitoring, ticketing, and communication workflows.
Help improve user authentication, access management, and account lifecycle processes.
Support subscription and billing workflows by investigating data discrepancies and integration issues.
Build reports and dashboards that turn operational, subscription, and system data into actionable insights.
Document integration behavior, troubleshooting procedures, and implemented solutions.
