Summer Intern -Risk Analysis
About The Position
As a Risk Analysis intern, you will support Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for nuclear power plant systems. Evaluating a plant's potential vulnerability involves assessing all risk and hazard types, including seismic, fire, flooding, etc. You will review plant operating procedures, system/layout documents, piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), cable routes, and other material to understand plant systems and operation. You will also perform database population/management and data analysis tasks using a variety of tools, perform code validation testing activities, and work with global project teams by contributing to technical scope execution and meeting schedule and financial goals.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or nuclear engineering
- Completed Sophomore year of college
- Database management, data analytics and software programming skills
