About The Position
The KIPP NYC Summer Project Employee role within Regional Academics is designed for rising college juniors or seniors of all majors who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in education and nonprofit work. In this role, you will support the Teaching & Learning and Student Support Services teams by providing logistical and administrative support throughout the summer. This is an opportunity to contribute to work that directly impacts schools and students, while gaining exposure to regional academic operations.
Requirements
- Rising college juniors or seniors of all majors
- Strong alignment with KIPP NYC’s mission and a commitment to supporting student success
- Interest in education, nonprofit work, and/or systems that support student achievement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with urgency, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated character strengths such as grit, optimism, responsibility, and a sense of humor

Benefits
- Hourly rate of $21.00 per hour
