2027 Summer Intern Quality Assurance – Validation & Qualification (IOPS)
About The Position
Regeneron is seeking multiple 2027 interns for its Quality Assurance – Validation & Qualification teams within Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS). Quality Assurance ensures that manufacturing processes are documented, controlled, and operating correctly, and that issues are investigated and corrected. Interns will contribute to projects supporting manufacturing quality and qualification activities at Regeneron’s Rensselaer, East Greenbush, and Troy, New York locations. The internship is full-time and onsite from May or June through August. Projects may combine data work, technical writing, process mapping, and cross-functional collaboration. Lab work is minimal to none, although projects may require walking through manufacturing or warehouse sites and traveling between sites.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in or accepted to an academic program pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
- Must be returning to school the semester following the position or graduating after the position.
- Relevant majors include Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology, Statistics/Data Science, and Supply Chain/Industrial Engineering.

- Demonstrated leadership in campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or the community.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Responsibilities
- Verify equipment inventories, labeling, and validation records in asset-management systems.
- Support cleaning validation and verification, aseptic process simulations (media fills), and shipping and transportation validation.
- Help improve qualification processes for components and raw materials, including sampling plans, defect classification, and supplier communication.
- Conduct gap assessments against industry standards and guidance, such as ISO/ISPE documents and contamination control or sterility assurance practices.
- Review historical qualification and study records to identify recurring issues and trends.
- Build or evaluate tools and systems, such as electronic qualification-program management systems, inspection databases, and pilots of emerging technology for regulated environments.
