About The Position
This internship offers the opportunity to work on company assigned project(s) to gain knowledge and hands on experience in the wood manufacturing industry and focuses on process improvement (increasing throughput rate, decreasing downtime, and/or improving quality/yield) at a manufacturing plant. Internships are for a duration of three (3) months during the summer.
Requirements
- Junior or Senior students with a field of study in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Work on company assigned project(s) to gain knowledge and hands on experience in the wood manufacturing industry.
- Focus on process improvement (increasing throughput rate, decreasing downtime, and/or improving quality/yield) at a manufacturing plant.
