About The Position

The 2026 Summer Intern, Human Resources (Talent Acquisition) will have the opportunity to gain experience in airline operations at Frontier Airlines by working within the HR department for a specific period of time. The intern will gain experience throughout Human Resources through assigned project work and on the job training. This internship is for Fall 2026 - 9/9/2026 - 12/11/2026 based in Denver, CO.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university
  • Possess excellent office and communication skills
  • Must have working knowledge of PC’s, MS Office software including Word, Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Preference given to candidates pursuing degree in Communications, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Previous experience in customer service or event planning preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist assigned HR department with various projects and functions as assigned.
  • Respond (by email, phone and in person) to requests made by employees, candidates, and members of leadership as needed.
  • Create and analyze Human Resources reports, as designated.
  • Create and/or update HR presentations.
  • Complete assigned HR projects in a timely and professional manner.
  • Update and/or maintain data in HR systems.
  • Assist in the facilitation of HR meetings, including booking meeting rooms, creating agendas and following-up on action items.
  • Assist with filling and maintenance of HR records.
  • Become knowledgeable of all Frontier policies and departmental procedures and policies where intern performs work.
  • Work with the Manager, Learning & Development to participate as a member of the Company’s training Center of Excellence.
  • Work within the Learning Management System (LMS) for the company to monitor compliance and identify training needs.
  • Assist with various projects and functions as assigned.
  • Gather feedback and measure the impact of engagement initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Organize and facilitate company-wide events, town halls, and engagement activities.
  • Assist in the creation and promotion of employee recognition programs to celebrate employee contributions.
  • Coordinate with Communications, HR, and Branding teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with company values.

  • Interns ($ per hour) pay rates vary by class year: Freshman $18.81, Sophomore $19.50, Junior $20.50, Senior $21.50, Graduate Program $23.50
