ITA is seeking a summer intern to join our Growth Support team at our headquarters in Newport News, Virginia. The Growth Support Intern will assist a cross-functional team responsible for enabling company growth through business intelligence, proposal management, and talent acquisition. This role provides hands-on experience supporting strategic initiatives that drive market positioning, capture efforts, and workforce readiness within a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

- Familiarity with data visualization tools
Responsibilities
- Support research and analysis of federal budgets, spending trends, and target markets
- Assist in developing reports, dashboards, and briefing materials to inform growth strategy
- Assist with proposal coordination activities, including document formatting, compliance checks, content organization, and support during proposal development cycles
- Aid in sourcing candidates, screening resumes, tracking applicant data, and coordinating interview logistics to support hiring and proposal staffing efforts
- Maintain accurate records across recruiting, pipeline tracking, and business intelligence tools
- Provide general support to the Growth Support team, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and internal processes are executed efficiently
