About The Position

The Global QMS Summer Intern will support the Global Quality Management Systems team in advancing strategic quality transformation initiatives, including the Global QMS Upgrade Program and deployment of digital quality tools. This internship offers hands-on experience in quality system governance, digitalization, change management, and user adoption analytics within a global manufacturing environment. The intern will assist with project coordination, data analysis, training effectiveness monitoring, user adoption reporting, and continuous improvement activities that help strengthen compliance, operational excellence, and audit readiness. Success in this role will be demonstrated through the delivery of accurate project metrics, meaningful adoption insights, high-quality documentation support, and proactive contributions that improve the effectiveness of global quality processes and digital solutions. Students pursuing degrees in Quality Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems or Data Analytics will be well-positioned to excel in this role.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and present information in a clear and professional manner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a global cross-functional team.
  • Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
  • Expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related technical or business discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of the Global QMS Upgrade Program by maintaining project trackers, action logs, milestone dashboards, and communication materials.
  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of digital quality tool adoption metrics, including user activity, training completion, and system utilization trends.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor user adoption, change readiness, and training effectiveness across multiple global sites.
  • Participate in user feedback collection activities, surveys, workshops, and focus groups to identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
  • Support development of training materials, user guides, job aids, and communication campaigns for digital quality systems.
  • Help coordinate global rollout activities, including meeting scheduling, documentation management, and status reporting.
  • Collaborate with Quality, IT, Operational Excellence, and site representatives to support successful deployment and adoption of quality tools.
  • Support change management and user readiness initiatives by tracking adoption risks, monitoring feedback, and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in special projects related to digital transformation, workflow automation, and quality system continuous improvement.
