Summer Intern - Geology
About The Position
The Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) is seeking a Summer Intern for Geology or Civil Engineering. This internship offers exposure to earthen and geologic construction activity, construction quality control, dam safety monitoring, report writing, and geotechnical and geologic instrument installation, monitoring, and reporting. Other projects may be assigned. GRDA is Oklahoma's largest public power electric utility, fully funded by revenues from electric and water sales instead of taxes. GRDA is also a steward of the waters of the Grand and Illinois Rivers in Oklahoma and manages over 70,000 surface acres of premier Oklahoma lake waters, as well as miles and miles of the Scenic Illinois River.
Requirements
- Junior, Senior or Graduate Student in Geology or Civil Engineering
- Passionate about growth, teamwork, and making an impact
