2027 Summer Intern Genetic Medicines & Molecular Biology

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals•Hawthorne, CA
•Onsite

About The Position

Regeneron is seeking multiple 2027 interns for its Genetic Medicines & Molecular Biology teams. These teams design and develop DNA-, RNA-, and virus-based therapeutics, delivery platforms, and genetic models used to discover, evaluate, and advance next-generation genetic medicines. The internship offers an opportunity to contribute to a science-driven organization focused on developing medicines for people with serious diseases. Interns will work with teams building molecular tools for genetic medicines, from DNA constructs to viral and non-viral delivery systems. Projects may involve cloning and assembling DNA, designing and testing viral vectors such as AAV, designing and synthesizing siRNA, using CRISPR gene editing, developing assays to study RNA-based drugs, studying immune responses to genetic medicines, and building genetic models for research. Most projects involve hands-on laboratory work and data analysis; some may include chromatography and purification or work with cell and animal models. The internship is full-time and onsite in Tarrytown, New York, or Hawthorne, New York, from May or June through August 2027. The hourly pay range for these locations is $17.90–$50.90, with the rate determined by education level and degree program.
