About The Position
As a Fluid Systems intern, you will apply knowledge gained from core college courses while working with other internal departments at a similar engineering level to obtain information needed for work assignments. The position is based at Westinghouse’s Cranberry, Pennsylvania facility and reports to the Nuclear Process & Power Conversion Systems Manager. It is a paid, full-time hybrid internship for the summer, from May through August 2027.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Completed sophomore year of college.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering design and analysis for nuclear power plants and products, including fuel manufacturing, spent-fuel management, service and maintenance, instrumentation and control, and training.
- Work with customers, vendors, and internal teams to obtain information.
- Plan and schedule work to meet requirements.
