About The Position
Are you a high school student, college student or recent graduate interested in government and public service? This is your chance to work inside the Arizona Secretary of State's Elections Division and witness democracy in action this summer!
Requirements
- Are at least 16 years old
- Have a 2.75 GPA or higher
- Are enrolled in high school, college or recently graduated
- Can work full time June 29 to July 31 including weekends and July 4th
- Live in Phoenix AZ area
- Can lift up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Review initiative petition sheets
- Learn about Arizona election administration
- Research state statutes and initiative processes
- Attend trainings on election administration
- Support the Elections Division team
