About The Position

SAW, Inc. is excited to offer paid summer internships where you will have the opportunity to support individuals with developmental disabilities in our adult activity centers and community settings. Gain skills that will help you explore your educational or career path in areas such as education, social work, OT/PT, speech, healthcare worker and many more!

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Valid Ohio driver license or State of Ohio ID
• If a minor, signed release from parent/guardian for criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Work alongside our dedicated team to facilitate engaging recreational activities and instruction either one-on-one or in groups.
• Assist individuals in achieving their goals with help and encouragement while fostering a culture of positivity and inclusivity in all interactions.
• Implement assessments, support goal development, plan a special event or research curriculum ideas.
