About The Position

Apple Bank is seeking motivated undergraduate students for its 10-week summer internship program in Commercial Banking. This program offers hands-on learning and real-world experience across various commercial lending teams, including Commercial Mortgage, Commercial & Industrial, National Deposits Group, Credit Risk, and Operations. The internship runs from June 7, 2027, to August 12, 2027, with an initial in-person week in NYC for onboarding and training, followed by a hybrid work model (4 days in office, 1 day remote). Interns will be guided by dedicated leaders, work on a team project presented to Senior Leadership, and have opportunities for individual development, coaching, and mentoring.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a related Bachelor’s degree program as a rising Senior.
Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
Experience using MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Currently authorized to work in the United States with no restrictions.
Ability to work both independently and on a team.
Organizational skills, a high degree of self-motivation, initiative, and leadership potential.
Ability to prepare deliverables for meetings while exhibiting professionalism, maturity, and insight.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Innovative and creative problem-solving ability.
Intellectual curiosity, cooperation, and focus in achieving group and client objectives.

Nice To Haves

Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
Previous experience in one or more of the following teams: Commercial Mortgage Division, Commercial & Industrial Division, National Deposits Group, Credit Risk, Operations.

Responsibilities

Participate in onboarding, training, and team building activities during the first week in NYC.
Work a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day remote/virtual.
Engage in meaningful work within an assigned department under the guidance of dedicated leaders.
Contribute to a team project focused on a real business concern, culminating in a presentation to Senior Leadership.
Seek individual development opportunities, coaching, and mentoring.
