About The Position
Apple Bank is seeking motivated undergraduate students for its 10-week summer internship program. This program offers hands-on learning and real-world experience in core areas of commercial lending. Interns will have the opportunity to rotate through various teams, including Commercial Mortgage, Commercial & Industrial, National Deposits, Credit Risk, and Operations, based on business needs and prior experience. The program includes onboarding, training, team building, a hybrid work model (4 days in office, 1 day remote), mentorship, and a team project presented to Senior Leadership.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a related Bachelor's degree program as a rising Senior.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Experience using MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States with no restrictions.
- Ability to work both independently and on a team.
- Organizational skills, a high degree of self-motivation, initiative, and leadership potential.
- Ability to prepare deliverables for meetings while exhibiting professionalism, maturity, and insight.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Innovative and creative problem-solving ability.
- Intellectual curiosity, cooperation, and focus in achieving group and client objectives.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in one or more of the following teams: Commercial Mortgage Division, Commercial & Industrial Division, National Deposits Group, Credit Risk, Operations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in onboarding, training, and team building activities during the first week.
- Engage in a hybrid working model, spending 4 days a week in the office and 1 day remotely.
- Work under the guidance of dedicated leaders within an assigned department.
- Contribute to a team project focused on a real business concern, culminating in a presentation to Senior Leadership.
- Seek and utilize individual development opportunities, coaching, and mentoring.
