About The Position

Vestwell is seeking motivated individuals for its 5th annual 10-week Summer Internship Program, running from June 8 to August 10, 2026. This program offers hands-on experience across various teams including Finance, Conversion Operations, Document Compliance, Partner Success, Retirement Plan Services, Enterprise Relationship Management, Payroll Operations, and National Sales. Interns will work on real projects, contributing through research, data analysis, and execution, with support from a manager and mentor. The goal is for interns to contribute to a defined deliverable, operate independently, and gain a strong understanding of Vestwell's business in the fintech sector.

Requirements

  • Rising or current seniors, or recent graduates (including boot camps or similar programs)
  • Based in or able to work in a hybrid capacity in New York City, Austin, or King of Prussia
  • Available for the full 10-week program (June 8 to August 10, 2026)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, and proactive working style
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the internship without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Candidates on F-1 or J-1 visas must have valid work authorization that allows for full-time internship participation, such as CPT, OPT, or J-1 Intern authorization through a designated sponsor.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Asana, Jira, Notion, Monday.com)
  • Exposure to AI tools or workflow automation platforms (e.g. Claude Cowork)
  • Prior internship, work, or relevant project experience
  • Knowledge of financial services, fintech, or retirement industry concepts

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day team operations and contribute to active projects from day one
  • Assist with data entry, analysis, reporting, and documentation across team workflows
  • Contribute to AI workflow, process automation, or operational improvement initiatives (varies by team)
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and, where applicable, external partners or clients
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, recurring 1:1s with your manager, and cross-functional check-ins
  • Document work, maintain internal resources, and contribute to team knowledge bases
  • Process documentation, workflow mapping, and operational improvement initiatives
  • Data analysis, reporting, and sales or billing operations support
  • AI-assisted workflow and automation projects (select teams)
  • Client and partner-facing relationship management support (select teams)
  • Compliance, amendment, and documentation projects (select teams)
