Summer Intern – Bioanalysis Research
About The Position
Insmed is seeking a Summer Intern – Bioanalysis Research to join its Research Team and contribute to the development of new biotherapeutic drugs. The 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid, full-time (40 hours per week), 12-week opportunity that offers hands-on experience, meaningful team projects, and learning from experienced professionals. The internship may include rotational assignments within the function, and the intern will work toward goals and objectives supporting the company’s strategic business plan. The intern will work with a team providing analytical support to formulation, discovery, and biology colleagues in the Research Department. The role includes conducting established experiments to support research studies, assisting with the development and optimization of analytical methods, and presenting findings to the team. The position is based at Insmed’s Research & Development laboratory in Bridgewater, New Jersey, and requires full-time, in-person attendance to support hands-on collaboration, access to specialized equipment, and operational needs. The hourly pay range is $20.00–$35.00.
Requirements
- Be a current student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, GraphPad Prism, and other statistical software.
- Be highly organized and able to work collaboratively in a multifaceted environment.
- Be detail-oriented.
