2027 Summer Insurance Internship

About The Position

Jencap is offering a unique, challenging, and rewarding nine-week Summer Insurance Internship program beginning in June 2027. This program provides hands-on experience within one of the largest wholesale insurance intermediaries in the United States. Interns will be assigned mentors, shadow staff members, join team meetings, and participate in meaningful work assignments within core business units such as Brokerage or Delegated Binding Authority. The program also includes regular engagement with the Senior Vice President of Training & Development and other interns, as well as a group project culminating in a final presentation to Jencap leaders.

Requirements

Completion of two or more business courses at an accredited college
Rising Senior status, May 2028 graduate
Business major
Ambitious, Professional, Committed, Collaborative, Positive, Hardworking, Ethical

Responsibilities

Be assigned mentors and have a working relationship with them.
Shadow staff members and join team meetings and activities.
Be assigned meaningful work assignments with one of our core business units: Brokerage or Delegated Binding Authority.
Regularly engage with the Senior Vice President of Training & Development and other interns on training and education hubs.
Participate in a group assignment with other interns offering meaningful ideas through a final presentation to Jencap leaders at the end of the internship.
