The Upward Bound Math & Science (UBMS) Summer Instructor/Residential Assistant (RA) is a dual-role position responsible for supporting both the academic and residential components of the six-week summer program. The position provides STEM instruction during the academic day while also supervising, mentoring, and supporting students in the residential setting. The RA helps create a structured, safe, and supportive environment that promotes academic achievement, personal growth, and college readiness. The position also serves as a learning advocate/resource broker through the “Check and Connect” Mentoring Program.
