About The Position

This role involves providing support in various aspects of facility maintenance and operations, with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental compliance. The Summer Helper will assist with waste stream management, facility inspections, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep of the work environment. The position requires the ability to work in demanding conditions and adhere to company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Assist in managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams onsite.
• Assist in daily inspections of the WWTP and baghouses.
• Assist in preventive maintenance on all catch basins at the facility to maintain compliance.
• Assist in supporting the CMMS system.
• Assist in all mainline duties.
• Assist in pattern maintenance.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including sweeping, cleaning, organizing, and painting.
• Provide support in VPP related items.
• Maintain adherence to Company Policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Provide seasonal maintenance around the facility such as lawn care, salting sidewalks, and snow removal.
• Perform additional duties as necessary within the department.
