About The Position
This role involves working with Local 94 Members to complete minor tasks such as painting and miscellaneous duties. The Summer Helper will be responsible for painting and sweeping mechanical and equipment rooms, maintaining lighting in various areas, organizing tool and supply rooms, recording meter readings, and performing work with minimal disruption. Immediate cleanup of work areas and proper storage of tools and supplies are also key responsibilities.
Requirements
- Ability to complete minor tasks such as painting and misc. tasks
- Ability to maintain order in tool and supply rooms and workshops
- Ability to record electrical and water meter readings
- Ability to perform work with minimum disruption
- Ability to conduct immediate cleanup of work area
- Ability to return tools to the workshop and unused supplies to the storeroom
Responsibilities
- Painting and sweeping of mechanical and equipment rooms
- Maintenance of lighting in mechanical, equipment rooms, service, and public areas
- Maintaining order in the tool and supply rooms and workshops
- Recording electrical and water meter readings
- Performing the work with minimum disruption
- Conducting immediate cleanup of work area
- Returning tools to the workshop and unused supplies to the storeroom
