About The Position

Greenheck Group is seeking Summer Help for their Minneapolis facility to support the manufacturing process. This is a summer-only commitment with opportunities on the production floor. The role involves gaining experience in assembling products using hand and power tools, reading standard operating procedures (SOPs) and blueprints, and fabricating sheet metal parts. Some roles may also include special projects around the facilities. Greenheck Group offers a safe, clean work environment with outstanding, in-depth training.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently during an 8-hour work shift.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, push, and pull in a busy work environment for up to an 8-hour work shift.
  • Ability to climb a ladder and/or scaffolding frequently during an 8-hour work shift.
  • Ability to stand for up to an 8-hour work shift.
  • Ability to grip, manipulate, and hold small parts with fingers.
  • Ability to hear different types of sound/decibels/tone such as alarms, sirens, and/or mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to see without visual impairments (depth, peripheral, color and acuity 20/40 or better).

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts/components of products using hand and power tools, reading standard operating procedures (SOP) and blueprints.
  • Fabricate and prepare sheet metal parts for assembly using hand tools and power tools.
  • Operate light machinery to punch out sheet metal parts and inject foam into panels, following SOPs.
  • Support manufacturing processes on the production floor.
  • Potentially engage in special projects around the facilities.
