About The Position

EFP is seeking Summer Help for General Production Roles, including Press Operator, Packer, and Tender positions. These roles are crucial for maintaining production efficiency and quality. The positions require attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and participation in team activities. The Summer Help position is a temporary role with the potential for over 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Must be 18+ years of age.
Ability to read.
Ability to write.
Ability to perform mathematics.
Steel/composite shoes.
Safety glasses.
Earplugs.

Responsibilities

Operate molding machines at a pace that meets set cycle times.
Tend to machines that package product.
Run multiple presses when required.
Remove finished packaged items from machines and separate rejected items.
Regulate wrapping machine flow, speed, and/or temperature.
Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur and report them to a supervisor.
Secure finished packaged items by hand tying, sewing, gluing, stapling, or attaching a fastener.
Replenish packaging supplies.
Remove waste from production areas to improve productivity.
Maintain and follow operating procedures of machinery.
Inspect parts for quality.
Identify the proper packaging container and ensure it is properly labeled.
Maintain an accurate count per container.
Complete required paperwork.
Participate in all required 5S/PPS activities.
Check parts to ensure they meet quality standards and package them correctly.
Keep the plant clean.
Operate packaging equipment.
Stack products.
Provide press operator lines with needed supplies.
