Requirements
- High School Graduate with intention of farthing themselves in college, trade school or the military.
- Great opportunity for someone majoring in Accounting or Business
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Team-oriented but able to work independently when needed.
- Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and time management.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with an ERP system or Excel is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare inventory areas for counting by organizing stock and verifying item labels
- Perform physical counts of inventory items in assigned locations within warehouses, stockrooms, or inventory areas
- Accurately record quantities using inventory count sheets, handheld scanners, or inventory management systems.
- Verify item descriptions, part numbers, and quantities during the counting process.
- Identify and document damaged, expired, or obsolete inventory items.
- Recount items and investigate discrepancies between physical counts and perpetual records.
- Assist in reconciling inventory differences and reporting shortages or overages to supervisors or inventory control personnel.
- Maintain organized and properly stored inventory throughout the counting process.
- Follow company inventory control procedures, work instructions and safety guidelines.
- Submit completed inventory documentation and ensure data accuracy.
- Utilize Oracle ERP as needed
