The Otipemisiwak Métis Government is recruiting for one (1) full-time, temporary Summer Forestry Field Assistant. This is a summer term position with an end date of August 28, 2026. Reporting to the Conservation Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with conservation site monitoring, data collection, community education and land stewardship work; activities including, but not limited to, invasive species management, habitat assessments, plant/wildlife surveys, and community events. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be required to both take direction and work intuitively to support the completion of the department’s goals and objectives in a professionally and culturally appropriate manner.
