About The Position

The Summer Financial Analyst will join Houlihan Lokey’s Corporate Valuation Advisory Services (CVAS) team in Dallas. The team performs business and intangible asset valuations in connection with mergers and acquisitions, financial and tax reporting, and management planning. It serves private equity and corporate clients across a wide range of industries, applying finance and accounting expertise and global valuation methodologies and best practices. During the summer, the analyst will develop complex financial models and analyze financial statements, industry conditions and developments, acquisitions and divestitures, and investment attributes of publicly traded and privately held securities. The role also offers opportunities to participate in the firm’s marketing efforts and work with experienced professionals, senior officers, and a broad range of industries and complex transactions.

Requirements

Be a B.A., B.S., or B.B.A. candidate majoring in Finance or Accounting, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
Coursework in accounting and finance.
Fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; the employer cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
