About The Position

Big Blue Swim School (operated by Fuzion Swim) teaches kids to swim in a warm, encouraging, family-first environment. We run three swim schools across Utah and hold some of the highest customer satisfaction and Google review scores in the entire Big Blue system. Families love us once they're in the door - we're looking for someone to help more of them take that first step. This is a high-impact summer role focused on one thing: helping interested families enroll. Every week, dozens of families book a free trial lesson or express interest but don't end up enrolling - often simply because no one followed up at the right moment. You'll be the person who makes that follow-up happen. You'll spend your time reaching out to families who have already shown interest - warm leads, not cold calls - answering their questions, addressing hesitations, and helping them get their child signed up for lessons. You'll work from a prioritized list and track your outcomes so we can see what's working. This is a great fit for a personable, organized self-starter who enjoys talking to people, is comfortable on the phone, and gets satisfaction from helping families say "yes."

Requirements

  • Warm, genuine, and confident communicator - especially on the phone
  • Reliable and self-directed; able to work through a call list without hand-holding
  • Organized enough to track contacts and follow-ups consistently
  • Comfortable with basic software (scheduling system, spreadsheets, email/text tools); we'll train you on ours
  • Positive, family-friendly attitude that reflects how we treat our customers
  • Available ~25 hours/week through the summer, including some afternoons/early evenings and weekend mornings when families are most reachable
  • Must pass a background check

Nice To Haves

  • experience in customer service, sales, front desk, hospitality, or working with kids/families
  • Current college students and re-entering professionals are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up by phone, text, and email with families who completed a trial lesson but haven't yet enrolled
  • Re-engage past leads and inquiries who expressed interest earlier in the year
  • Reach out quickly to new trial-bookers to confirm, answer questions, and reduce no-shows - especially families booked more than a week out
  • Give extra care and reassurance to first-time swim parents (our youngest-level families), who often just need a friendly conversation to feel confident enrolling
  • Guide interested families through enrollment, including our membership and swim-plan options
  • Log every contact and outcome in our tracking system so we can measure results
  • Share what you're hearing from families - common questions, hesitations, scheduling issues - so we can keep improving
