About The Position

The Office of Housing and Residential Engagement is looking for students to fill CDA positions in the residence halls this summer. These positions involve serving as a visible and approachable presence in the community, responding to student needs, participating in an on-call rotation, and supporting the front desk with administrative and customer service tasks. The role also includes upholding university policies, promoting community standards, building relationships with residents, and supporting university partners hosting summer conferences or camps. Additionally, CDAs are responsible for submitting incident reports, attending training, assisting with administrative duties, room checks, and summer transition tasks, as well as supporting work order and maintenance request tracking.

Requirements

  • Must be in good academic and conduct standing.
  • Completion of at least two semesters at Regis University (or equivalent).
  • Must be a current Regis student registered for Fall 2026.
  • Must have previous residence life/ front desk experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to work the entire summer term (May 5–August 22).
  • Willingness to live on campus and take part in a regular on-call rotation.
  • Must be able to attend Summer CDA Training.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds safely and without assistance. This includes loading, unloading, and transporting materials or equipment as needed for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a visible and approachable presence in the community.
  • Respond to student needs and concerns as they arise.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and fulfill duty responsibilities.
  • Support the front desk with administrative and customer service tasks.
  • Uphold and enforce all Regis University policies.
  • Promote community standards and respectful shared living.
  • Build relationships with residents and host an inclusive, respectful community.
  • Support university partners hosting summer conferences or camps.
  • Submit incident reports and appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
  • Attend scheduled summer training and check-ins with the supervisor.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, room checks, and summer transition duties.
  • Support work order and maintenance request tracking, follow-up, and communication with Physical Plant.
  • Support the Housing and Residential Engagement front desk and perform administrative tasks.
