About The Position
A busy family of four is seeking a Summer chef for their home in East Hampton. The duration of this position is from June 9th through Labor Day, and the general schedule is 5 days per week, including weekends. The role can be live-in or live-out, depending on the candidate's needs. This is a fun and down-to-earth family looking for a great chef to join them this Summer!
Requirements
- Previous experience as a private or personal chef in a high-end household.
- Ability to quickly adapt to an existing routine and preferences.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Professional, discreet, and service-oriented demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Preparing daily meals for the family, including children, with varied preferences.
- Grocery shopping, organization and upkeep of the kitchen area, and keeping the pantry stocked.
- Preparing menus for frequent guests and small gatherings, focusing on seasonal, local ingredients.
- Kitchen clean-up and organizing at all times.
