Summer Camp Transition Teacher
About The Position
The Rising Pre-K program is a summer intensive academic support for children in the Georgia Pre K program. Our center is looking for transition program staff including an Assistant Teacher and a Program Coach. These seasonal/temporary positions will help connect families to valuable resources while providing quality education for pre-kindergarten children. Open Positions May 26-July 3 at 3370 Cherokee Street Kennesaw, GA 30144. Lead Teacher $$6,792.63. There’s something truly special about knowing you’re shaping a child’s future. Requirements
- Passion for working with young children.
- At least 18-years-old for Assistant Teacher and 21 for Lead Teachers.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working in licensed childcare.
- Ability to pass background checks & health assessments.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
- CDA, TCC, TCD, Paraprofessional Certificate, Associates Degree based on position.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
- Create an engaging classroom where children can learn, play and grow.
- Support children’s social and emotional development.
- Foster a love of learning through lesson plans.
- Build strong partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions.
