About The Position

Bright Horizons at USAA is now hiring in Tampa, FL for full-time Summer Camp Teacher positions. This role can be for the summer only, or it can extend into the fall for those interested in continuing employment past the summer months. The schedule is 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The company offers competitive pay ranging from $16.10 to $21.70 per hour based on education and experience. The position involves creating hands-on activities, maintaining open communication with parents, and ensuring a safe and clean classroom environment. The role is in-person in the Tampa, FL area.

Requirements

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
• Related college-level early education course work or CDA is required
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required
• 45 DCF Training Hours required
• Florida Care Provider Clearinghouse Background Screening

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
• Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred
