About The Position

The Summer Camp Site Supervisor position supports the work of the YMCA of Collier County, Inc., a leading not-for-profit organization committed to strengthening the communities in Collier County through its core focus areas of Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. This role is responsible for the overall development, implementation, and supervision of the Summer Camp Program, with the support and guidance of the School Age Manager. The Site Supervisor leads a team to provide excellent school age care for children aged K-8th grade, ensuring that YMCA standards and procedures, as well as those of the Department of Children and Families, are followed.

Requirements

• Meets all Department of Children and Family standards
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
• 21 Years or older
• Certification in CPR and Basic First Aid

Nice To Haves

• Two years supervisory experience
• Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA

Responsibilities

• Overall development, implementation, and supervision of the Summer Camp Program
• Serve as the leader of a team of people with the goal of providing excellent school age care for children aged K-8th grade
• Make sure that YMCA standards and procedures as well as those of the Department of Children and Families are followed
• Supervise Program Counselors
• Make regular reports to the School Age Manager
