About The Position
QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Summer Camp Nurse (Specialist), to join our team at Harford Glen Park in Bel Air, MD, in support of our C5ISR Center HQ Operations Support contract. This is a temporary position, expected 20 July through 7 August.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Five (5) years of experience required as a Registered Nurse.
- Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
- Must possess current certifications in First Aid and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to pass CJIS background check
Responsibilities
- Administers first aid for injury and illness.
- Administers medications and health care treatments.
- May provide and coordinate health care interventions, including emergency responses should the need arise.
- Coordinates health matters between the health care provider, family, and the camp.
- Maintains school health records, including ensuring compliance with state health mandates for camp attendance.
- Monitors the spread of communicable diseases and developing and implementing strategies to control the spread of communicable diseases should the need arise.
