About The Position

Arcis Golf team members thrive on anticipating needs, forging connections, and elevating experiences for our team, members, and guests. This is a 3-week Camp Counselor position, with the ability to work in a different department on off weeks for a full summer job. The role involves creating and implementing new childcare programs specific to the location, instructing and monitoring various childcare activities, and providing personal attention to guests' needs and safety.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Proven child care skills.
• Demonstrated outstanding customer service.
• Willingness to learn and perform new child care programs and activities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Drive and motivation.
• Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Takes primary responsibility for the health, wellbeing and happiness for children participating in the location’s childcare program.
• Recognizes and resolves individual or group issues or problems.
• Provides and supervises entertainment activities for children participating in the location’s childcare program.
• Maintains cleanliness and neatness of fitness equipment and facility.
• Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.
• Performs special projects delegated by management.
• Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the department as well as the location.
