About The Position
The Greater Cleveland YMCA is seeking fun and creative Seasonal Camp Counselors to join their team. This role is responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of camp activities. The position is seasonal, starting at the end of May and running through mid-August. Invitations to participate in the preliminary on-line video interview will be sent by email.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 18 years of age.
- Experience with outdoor recreation, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, games, etc.
- Ability to work effectively work with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.
- Comprehensive background check for all employees who work with children and youth.
Nice To Haves
- 1-year experience working with children in a day camp setting preferred.
