About The Position
Every summer, Old Colony YMCA works with hundreds of children in fun and educational summer outdoor day camp programs. We are looking for you to be a role model and guide campers through activities! This role involves guiding and inspiring campers aged 4-14 through exciting and educational outdoor activities. The summer program runs from June 17th to August 23rd. Mandatory training days are branch dependent. The work schedule is Monday-Friday (no weekends), with shifts from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old by August 1st.
- Up-to-date physical and immunizations (Same as required for school).
- Strong communication skills: ability to read, write, talk, see, and hear.
- Ability to lead age-appropriate games and activities.
