About The Position
Zach’s Place is seeking compassionate, energetic Summer Camp Counselors to support children with disabilities in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. Staff will assist with daily camp activities, encourage social engagement, and help meet individual needs of participants.
Requirements
- Background check required
Nice To Haves
- 18+ preferred
- Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Patient, reliable, and team-oriented
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage campers in activities (games, crafts, outdoor play, field trips)
- Provide support based on individual needs, including social, behavioral, and personal care
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, and meals
- Follow all safety and program guidelines
