About The Position

Woodward Tahoe (Boreal and Soda Springs), located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountain range, is a year-round world-class action sports facility with a culture that comes straight from our main product: Fun. We are seeking an enthusiastic and responsible Summer Camp Cook to prepare and serve nutritious and delicious meals for campers during the summer season. The cook will be responsible for preparing breakfast and lunch, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Valid California Food Handler Certificate or able to acquire one within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in a group setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook daily breakfast and lunch meals for campers and staff.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food prep areas.
• Ensure proper storage of food and ingredients.
• Work closely with camp staff to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Ensure timely meal service while maintaining quality and presentation.
