About The Position

Easterseals Florida is seeking enthusiastic cooks to join our team for the summer season. As a Summer Camp Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving fun foods and desserts to our campers. This is a seasonal position offering additional income and the opportunity to make a difference in the community. Requirements

• Compassion for working with children and adults with disabilities and special needs
• High School Diploma/GED
• Six months related experience and/or training
• Ability to lift and or move up to 50 pounds
• Good knowledge of proper sanitary practices
• Punctual, responsible and self-motivated

Nice To Haves

• Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen is preferred
• Food handler's certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Prep, cook and serve meals
• Adapt menus to those with dietary needs
• Maintain safety and sanitization standards in the kitchen and dining hall
