About The Position

Evercore seeks to hire investment banking Summer Associates for the 2027 Strategic Advisory: Summer Associate Program – Menlo Park Healthcare Group. Evercore's unique market position provides Associates the ability to work closely with senior bankers on industry-transforming, multi-billion dollar transactions in markets around the world. The small transaction team structure allows Associates a strong platform to learn investment banking and assume high levels of responsibility at early stages of their careers. As a key part of the healthcare team, summer associates will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments across M&A, strategic partnerships, capital raising, alternative financing (e.g., royalty financing), and evaluation of strategic alternatives. The Menlo Park Healthcare group covers both public and private companies across Biopharma and MedTech – providing a diverse set of experiences over the internship. Candidates must have a strong interest in investment banking with quantitative and analytical skills, as well the ability to think broadly about a range of strategic issues confronting the firm’s clients.

Requirements

• Be a current First Year MBA student from a top business school
• Strong grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
• Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas
• Outstanding communications skills, both written and oral
• Great work ethic
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented character

Nice To Haves

• Preferably three or more years of relevant work experience
