About The Position

The Summer Associate Program at Tucker Arensberg, P.C. is designed to develop new attorney talent. Selected candidates will work closely with mentors in various practice areas during a twelve-week rotation. This program offers real work experience, insight into the firm's marketing initiatives and attorney development opportunities, participation in practice group meetings, and involvement in firm social events. Successful associates may receive an offer of full-time employment following graduation and passing the bar exam, which includes a stipend for bar exam preparation. This job description is not exhaustive and responsibilities may evolve.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree from an accredited law school
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid writing and editing skills with a focus on developing thoughtful and persuasive messaging
• Ability to work in and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management mindset
• Commitment to professionalism, cooperation, and teamwork
• A strong drive to provide proactive, client-focused legal services

Nice To Haves

• Additional clerkship or other legal internship experiences
• Active Notary license

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a mentor in each practice area throughout their twelve-week rotation.
• Gain real work experience to see firsthand how the Firm supports new associates as they find the practice groups that interest them.
• Gain insight into the Firm's Marketing initiatives to see what attorney development opportunities are available to market their practice once they are established.
• Take part in practice group meetings during their rotations.
• Participate in Firm social events including the Mentorship Committee to gain an understanding of the support provided to full time Associates.
