About The Position

Evercore's Private Funds Group (PFG) offers global advisory services for capital raising for private fund sponsors, including those with private equity, private credit, and infrastructure/real assets strategies. PFG is a leading group in primary capital advisory and placement. The Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week experience designed to provide motivated undergraduates with a representative experience of a PFG analyst. PFG seeks intelligent, mature individuals with a desire and flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment and the ability to learn on the job. Candidates will rank their preferred vertical: GP Advisory (strategic advisory and execution for private fund managers, including competitive positioning, marketing materials, diligence, and client reporting) or LP Distribution (supporting distribution professionals in managing LP relationships and executing fundraises, assisting with LP requests, market mapping, and documentation).

Requirements

Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral
Strong quantitative skills and acute attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Demonstrate a high level of initiative and self-motivation
Able to work independently, across a variety of responsibilities and at a fast pace
Must be enthusiastic about the private equity industry and demonstrate a capacity to learn quickly

Private equity fundraising experience is not necessary

Responsibilities

Work with the GP Advisory team on providing strategic advisory and execution services to private fund managers across all aspects of the fundraising process, including competitive positioning and market assessment, preparation of marketing materials, execution of diligence requests and effective client reporting.
Support distribution professionals in managing LP relationships and executing fundraises across our platform.
Assist with ad hoc LP requests, LP Market Mapping, creating and updating PFG’s internal and external documentation, including GP overviews, prep notes and internal tracking.
