About The Position

Evercore’s Private Capital Advisory (“PCA”) group provides independent advice and execution services to leading private equity sponsors and institutional investors on a variety of strategic transactions across the private capital spectrum. These transactions include sponsor-driven private equity fund recapitalizations, sales of portfolios of private assets, seeded capital raises, and management team spin-outs. PCA’s clients are typically private equity sponsors, financial institutions, asset managers, pension funds, endowments, foundations, and family offices looking to utilize the secondary private equity market. The group focuses on a diverse range of asset types such as buyout, venture, credit, real estate, energy, and infrastructure. The Evercore Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week program designed to offer a highly motivated undergraduate a representative experience of a PCA analyst. The program seeks intelligent, mature individuals with the desire and flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment and the ability to learn on the job. Candidates will have the opportunity to rank their preferred vertical within PCA for focus: GP Private Equity, GP Private Credit, LP, or SCS (Structured Capital Solutions). Requirements

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029
• Finance, Accounting or Economics major (preferred)
• Interested in pursuing a career in the secondaries industry
• Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, loyal team player
• Strong communications skills, both written and oral
• A deep commitment to personal excellence with a proven track record of strong work ethic
• Approaches challenges with optimism, humility, and a focus on learning and growth

Responsibilities

• Work with the general partner (“GP”) team on providing strategic advisory services to financial sponsors across a variety of portfolio and fund management objectives (for GP Private Equity vertical).
• Work with the general partner (“GP”) team on providing strategic advisory services to credit managers (for GP Private Credit vertical).
• Work with the limited partner (“LP”) team on advising LPs on sales of portfolios of private assets (for LP vertical).
• Work with the Structured Capital Solutions (“SCS”) team on employing various forms of structured asset-backed security technologies to create innovative capital and liquidity solutions for private markets issuers and investors (for SCS vertical).
