About The Position
Howden Private Capital is seeking a highly motivated Credit Team Intern to support the underwriting, structuring, and execution of complex credit and insurance-linked financing solutions. This role provides hands-on exposure to private credit, structured insurance products, and transaction execution.
Requirements
- Pursuing degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of financial statements
Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluation of new credit opportunities
- Support financial analysis and review of financial statements
- Help build and maintain financial models
- Prepare underwriting materials and credit memos
- Conduct industry and company research
- Assist in due diligence processes
- Compile data from stakeholders and advisors
- Support monitoring of portfolio exposures
- Prepare reports and updates
- Track market developments
- Assist in structuring credit solutions
- Support term sheets and documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams
- Maintain databases and trackers
- Assist with presentations
- Provide ad hoc analytical support
