About The Position

The Evercore Liability Management & Restructuring Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week intensive program designed to offer motivated undergraduates a representative experience in liability management and restructuring. The program seeks intelligent and mature individuals eager to work in a boutique environment and learn on the job. Summer Analysts must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and possess intellectual curiosity. They will engage in various assignments, including in-court and out-of-court restructurings, recapitalizations, exchanges, tenders, liability management transactions, distressed M&A, and private credit capital raises. Responsibilities include preparing for and attending client meetings, financial modeling, resolving complex accounting issues, analyzing financial statements and credit documents, performing valuation and industry analysis, and conducting due diligence. The program's small deal team structure provides Summer Analysts with a strong platform to learn all facets of restructuring and liability management, offering close contact with clients and firm partners. Requirements

Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029
Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas
Strong communications skills, both written and oral
Strong interest in special situations / distressed / restructuring transactions
Strong work ethic
