About The Position

Roman Group and Rosano Partners, a commercial real estate investment and brokerage firm, is seeking candidates for its 2024 Summer Internship class in the Los Angeles office. The internship provides hands-on experience supporting and collaborating with Acquisitions, Asset Management, Property Management, and Operations, offering insight into commercial real estate investing and brokerage. The program is intended to provide an opportunity to extend a full-time offer to interns interested in a career in real estate investments.

Requirements

• Be a recent graduate or an undergraduate in their junior or senior year at the time of application.
• Be local to Los Angeles and able to commute to and work in the office.
• Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, including proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Be self-motivated, have a can-do attitude, and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, phone etiquette, and learning aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and analyze acquisition opportunities in multifamily, development, retail, and hospitality.
• Assist in underwriting acquisition opportunities using a financial model.
• Analyze sales comparables, rents, operating costs, and real estate taxes to assess project feasibility.
• Prepare and audit financial reports for review by senior management, prospects, and clients.
• Create offering memorandums and marketing packages for qualified investment opportunities.
• Assist with operations and ad hoc assignments.
• Support and collaborate with the Acquisitions, Asset Management, Property Management, and Operations departments.
